Our client, a very well established and respected provider of financial planning in West Yorkshire and Manchester is looking for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join their team in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build on existing client bank by adding new clients from a variety of resources

  • Ensure suitable recommendations are made to existing and new clients

  • Exhibit compliant behaviour at all times and maintain firm procedures when dealing with existing and new clients

  • Ensure a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) is held at all times

  • Attain and maintain level of competence, performance and compliance as required by the firm

  • Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately


Qualifications
· The requisite technical knowledge and qualification (e.g. QCA Level 4 exams)
· Experience in a previous Financial Adviser role- 2 years qualified as an absolute minimum


Desirable
· Working towards Chartered Financial Planner status

What’s provided
Fee splits are 60% to the adviser on the first £50k of revenue and 75% to the adviser thereafter. For chartered advisers, these splits are increased to 64% and 79% respectively.  
Included in this are the following software licences, these being the main software we used within the firm:
FE Analytics
Cash flow modelling software (within the firm advisers use CashCalc and Truth).
Dynamic Planner
IRESS
Intelligent Office

Review reports and suitability reports would be prepared by the paraplanners in the office. 
Similarly, client account administration (top-ups, withdrawals, preparing paperwork for new sign-ups etc.) and maintenance of records on Intelligent Office would be done by the office.
Our client has made eight acquisitions over the last three and a half years and after recent financing are expecting to increase the pace of their acquisition programme going forward.
