Our client is an award winning, top 100 financial planning firm based in Liverpool who strive for excellence and continual improvement in everything they do. They have been trading and profitable for almost 5 years and have renewed corporate chartered financial planner status for the 3rd year.

 

They are now recruiting for a highly experienced and technical Senior Paraplanner to join their small but friendly team. They are happy to offer hybrid working once completed training.

 

The candidate:

Educated to degree level

Obtained or working towards CFP or Chartered Status i.e. Level 6 diploma in financial planning or similar.

5+ years experience in a Financial Planning

Someone who strives for excellence and continual improvement

Must be able to manage and train other technical staff as well act as a 'critical friend' to advisers.

Carrying out more than just report writing, ie platform and provider due diligence,  meetings and present complex calculations.

 

Key Contributions and Outputs:

Overseeing and distributing task and workflow management for the Technical Team,

Project and team briefings

1st line support to Technical Team

Managing and overseeing the daily activities of the Technical Team

Ensuring the technical elements of the business are run in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally

Managing and reporting technical Management Information to the Technical Executive(s)

Overseeing and contributing to the creation of technical operational procedures and templates

Managing the research and analysis of financial products to meet Client requirements

Managing the presentation of technical data to the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s)

Managing the preparation of Client Financial Plans and Suitability Reports.
